Elon Musk demanded Cyberpunk 2077 cameo in weirdest way possible
Once upon a time, Cyberpunk 2077's arrival in the video game space was a huge deal. The game was expected to be one of the biggest, boldest, brightest RPG video games in history, and with its immense ambition, it was so close to making history.
Of course, we now know of the abysmal start that the game had, and even though there are fresh updates, fixes and DLC still being rolled out, there are many who are burned by their experience with the title upon its launch.
But there are still some pretty fascinating tidbits about the game to be dug up - especially now that it's been revealed that Elon Musk showed up to the game's studios with a gun. No, really.

It turns out that Elon Musk's hoped involvement in Cyberpunk 2077 came to light because of a very strange threat, as it has been revealed by biographer Walter Isaacson that his near-appearance in the game came with a very threatening stance.
Elon's then-partner Grimes was in the recording studio to record her lines as in-game pop star Lizzy Wizzy and the billionaire showed up with her, holding a 200-year-old firearm, insisting that he be added to the game. "The studio guys were like sweating," reflects Grimes.
It's a pretty intense way to show up anywhere, and it looks as though it didn't work, as many have noticed that he actually isn't in the game.
But some players reckon he's hidden in the title.
Is Elon Musk in Cyberpunk 2077?
It's noted that the billionaire isn't actually in the game, but there are some who reckon that his likeness does in fact appear in the game uncredited.
There is a character who stands in the background of a bathroom in an early sequence, and some reckon that the character model is based on Musk - but we don't have any actual confirmation that it's him.
Whether he's in Cyberpunk 2077 or not, we can't recommend that you walk into recording studios swinging a firearm around, whether it's from 200 years ago or not. See, Elon? Violence solves nothing.
