With so few details being spared and shared form Electronic Arts surrounding the development of Battlefield VI, leakers and gaming fanatics have been frantically trying to decipher any tiny slither of information about what could be coming in the updated title.

The game which is set to land by the end of 2021, has been described by Dr Disrespect as a title that can rival Call of Duty: Warzone as the leading shooter, as early leaks suggest that the game will support up to 128 players in one lobby and will contain fully destructible cities as the battle becomes more interactive than ever before.

With a worldwide reveal rumoured for March 2021, early indications of the setting have surfaced, and it's been staring us in the face for over a year.

The two-part theory stems from the Battlefield VI tech demo released by EA last year, and a Battlefield V skin that is hidden within the game. YouTuber DannyYonPC, with the help from some now-deleted Reddit posts, has found that we could be set to land in Asia, with coordinates suggesting Kazakhstan will be the setting.

Eagle-eyed and bold as brass, Danny reveals a set of coordinates that are imprinted on the forehead of the 'guy' from EA's tech demo - the location of which is believed to point towards Kazakhstan.

Some Battlefield V players may remember or still use the Liberte Easter egg skin, and the second pointed finger lies on the belt of said outfit. The numbers engraved onto the brim of the medallion also combine through longitude and latitude to pinpoint several places within Kazakhstan, most of which are wide open plains or contain scarce statues and buildings.

The landlocked country is the biggest in the world to not touch the coast, and whilst this theory isn't much more than a hypothesis, for now, it begs the question as to why the hints were dropped by EA in the first place.
