Halo Infinite is set to shake up the Halo franchise a hell of a lot, and it looks like Xbox fans know it. While its initial reveal was pretty lacklustre, its segment during Xbox and Bethesda’s presentation during E3 this year offered a brand-new insight into the game, farming hype from fans of the series in incredible fashion.
The game’s arrival on Game Pass, the free multiplayer mode, the improved next-gen visuals - the game has the potential to shake up the next-gen era of gaming.
And it seems like fans know it, as they’ve very excited to get involved with the beta.
Over 100,000 Players Sign Up For Halo Infinite Beta
In an update on the progress of Halo Infinite’s beta testing, Community director Brian Jarrard has suggested that more than 100,000 people have signed up for the game’s beta, but not all of them will get access as they haven’t all completely finished their profiles. “I know folks are getting tired of seeing all the Halo Insider reminders”, Jarrard starts on Twitter. “I promise we’re not trolling. Truth is, we have a LOT (six figures worth) of people who ‘signed up’ but didn’t complete all the required steps. Legit makes me sad knowing they’ll miss the opportunity.”
It’s a shame that many likely won’t get into the beta, and a strong wake-up call to those yet to sign up, but there’s still a chance to get in if you’re prepared to put in the effort.
How To Access Halo Infinite’s Beta
You can still be a part of Halo Infinite’s beta testing, as long as you sign up (properly) to the Halo Insider program. All you have to do to give the next-gen title a spin before launch is sign up for the program on the Microsoft website.
There are a few caveats to joining in - like being at least 18 years of age and being willing to sign a confidentiality statement - but if you pass those checks, you’ll be able to get your hands on Halo Infinite before launching as part of some flight tests.
That’s everything you need to get into the beta of the new Halo title, and join the 100,000+ already in the system. Just remember to really fill out every box, unless you want to be left out in the cold.

Playing Halo 2 in third-person makes it better than ever
When you think of Halo you most likely categorise it as a first-person shooter, which makes sense since that is exactly what it is. At least, it was until modders shone a whole new light on Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, allowing players to experience Halo in the third person.
