What is Street Fighter 6 and the beta?

Street Fighter 6 is the latest title in the Street Fighter series. In one of the most iconic fighting game franchises, players will be able to pick up their favourite characters like Ryu and Ken, along with newcomers like Luke, and go head-to-head in an all-out brawl.

Before release, players had the opportunity to access the beta for Street Fighter 6, meaning they could get an early look at how the game looked, the characters played, and who they would be choosing as their mains (Juri mains rise up!).

  • Curious about the game modes Street Fighter 6 has on offer? Find out whether SF6 will have an arcade mode too!

The short answer for the most part is no, progress from the Street Fighter 6 beta will not carry over to the full game. This means data like your avatar and previous saves will not be carried over as well.

The only aspect that will carry over from the open beta is the link between your Capcom ID and the account used to access the open beta on your platform choice.

So, when you pick up Street Fighter 6, you’ll be starting from scratch, but there will be plenty of content to sink your teeth into. Let’s see if all that practice paid off!

That’s everything on whether your progress from the open beta will carry over to the full game in Street Fighter 6. Looking for the system requirements of SF6? We’ve got you covered there as well.
