There are three areas around the Conservatory which are spots for Home Teleports. You'll receive recipes to make three of these through the Comm Station during your playthrough. You'll get the recipes for a Yellow, Blue and Red Home Portal from Victor Humphries at the Comm Station. So, be sure to check it regularly.

Home Teleports can be placed anywhere on Rainbow Island and the adjacent maps, they serve as a direct link back to the Conservatory and are a one-way teleport system meaning you can only use them to travel home. You'll receive the following recipes at the Comm Station (the tower to the right of the main Conservatory entrance. The display screen usually shows a Wifi signal or an exclamation mark if you have an awaiting message to read).

Home Portals will show up on the map once placed, to make one head to the Fabricator under the Conservatory and click on the portal icon at the top of the menu. Note that you can only make one of each colour.

  • Yellow Home Portal – requires 250 Nubucks, Cotton Plorts x10, Jellystone x10 and Deep Brine x10 to make. The recipe is given to the player for free on day 3.
  • Blue Home Portal - requires 250 Nubucks, Rock Plorts x10, Radiant Ore x10 and Primordy Oil x5 to make. You get the recipe for free when you reach day 17.
  • Red Home Portal – requires 800 Nubucks, Boom Plort x20, Jellystone x10, Primordy Oil x10 and Lava Dust x5 to make. You receive the recipe for this at the Comm Station on day 23.

The Ember Valley Teleport allows you to put a direct link to Ember Valley in your Conservatory. The link is one-way but allows you to access the map from your base.

To receive the recipe for the Ember Valley Teleport you must defeat the Boom Gordo, located to the far west of the island, and indicated on the map above. Feed the Gordo approximately 30 sources of meat such as Hen Hens or approximately 25 of its favourite food, the Briar Hen.

The recipe for the portal is located inside a Treasure Pod in the cave system behind the Gordo, you'll receive access to the room once the Gordo explodes.

The portal requires the following ingredients to craft:

  • 1,000 Nubucks
  • Boom Plort x20
  • Crystal Plort x10
  • Radiant Ore x10
  • Primordy Oil x10
  • Strange Diamond x1

Moondew Nectar cannot be farmed, you must collect it from the surrounding pink region of Starlight Strand. Nectar can only be collected at night and drops from blue flowers.
Once you have the recipe it requires the following materials to craft a Starlight Strand teleport:

  • 1,000 Nubucks
  • Hunter Plort x20
  • Honey Plort x10
  • Radiant Ore x10
  • Silky Sand x10
  • Strange Diamond x1

Warp Depots can be used to transfer resources between two points, a useful mechanism if you're conducting supply runs across the islands. However, you can only store one type of resource in the Depots at a time. The following Warp Depot recipes can be found in the following areas:
