The PC system requirements for Skull and Bones have been revealed, allowing players to figure out exactly how their hardware matches up and what kind of performance they can expect when playing the game.

Skull and Bones is an action-adventure game that revolves around piracy and ship-to-ship combat, set during the Golden Age of Piracy. You can take the game online to face other players, or explore the single-player campaign, but first you'll need to know if you can actually run the game. Check out the system requirements for various presets below.

Below are the official system requirements designed for playing Skull and Bones, according to the Ubisoft website

Minimum system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz or Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 65 GB (SSD required)

Designed for 1080p at 30 FPS on the low graphical preset.

Recommended system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bt
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz or Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8 GB)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 65 GB (SSD required)

Designed for 1080p at 60 FPS on the high graphical preset.

Some of these system requirements are fairly generous, with the minimum specs allowing you to use hardware that's seven or eight years old as of writing this. As long as you've upgraded within the last 6 years or so, you should be good to play the game.

Ubisoft also revealed further recommended specs for players looking to experience the game at 1440p or 2160p, which can be found below.

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz or Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5600X 3.7 GHz or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8 GB)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 65 GB (SSD required)

Designed for 1440p at 60 FPS on the high graphical preset.

Recommended 2160p system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz or Intel Core i5-11600K 3.9 GHz
  • Memory: 16 RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (10 GB)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 65 GB (SSD required)

Designed for 2160p (2K) at 60 FPS on the ultra graphical preset.
