The latest Palia 0.170 patch is here, bringing with it a host of fixes and improvements and even a new romance option: everyone's favourite hunky blacksmith, Hodari.

If you've looked forward to the new Palia patch and want a rundown of everything new to arrive, we have you covered with a full guide below.

As well as the new romance option, there is a host of new Halloween-themed decor and premium items to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

What’s included in the Palia 0.170 patch?

First things first, let's get the most important update out of the way. Hodari is finally romanceable in the game, much to the delight of many fans lovestruck by the shy blacksmith.

There are a few conditions to starting his romance questline however, these are:

  • Complete the final quest for the Temple of the Waves (Echoes of the Unknown)
  • Achieve friendship level 4 with Najuma

To win this single father’s heart, you’ll need to be on good terms with Najuma first.

Along with this update, developer Singularly 6 has noted that there are future plans to make Sifuu a romantic character, but this will require more time to implement due to story reasons.
