My Time At Sandrock Owen: How To Get Friendship Points

From time to time, Owen will issue quests to the player, which is a great opportunity to get rewards, XP, and friendship points. Examples include the welcoming quest where Owen will ask you to join him for lunch, and the quest where Owen will ask you to retrieve the Blue Moon sign from the desert.

Characters may also post quests on the Commissions Boards at the Commerce Hall, so look out for these as completing them will earn you friendship points with the NPC who posted the advertisement.

His birthday is on day two of Spring, giving him a loved gift on this day will yield three times as many friendship points as normal.

You can also chat to Owen once a day for an additional friendship point, however, the easiest way to achieve points is through gift-giving and finding out which gifts are Owen’s favourite for an added boost to friendship points.

At ‘Buddy’ level you’ll receive a 10% discount in the Blue Moon Saloon. At ‘Friend’ level this increases to 20% and increases once again to 25% when you have achieved ‘Good Friend’ status with him. This makes him a great NPC to befriend as food can be a valuable source of stamina in the game, especially when on mining expeditions in the Abandoned Ruins.
