Are you a fan of MW2's Party Modes? Party Modes are a fun way to relax and get away from the more serious side of Modern Warfare 2. If you need a break from the traditional modes and want to try something different, check out the MW2 Party Modes.

If you're in the mood for some Party Modes, you can play an assortment of MW2's Party Modes in the Party Modes playlist. If there's a specific Party Mode you're after, sometimes Infinity Ward will implement separate playlists for individual Party Modes.

If you can't find your favourite Party Mode, you can always create a Private Match and select the Party Mode of your choice under Alternative Modes. Invite some friends or add some bots, and you're good to go!

Infected

Infected features two teams - the Infected and the Survivors. The match begins with a single Infected player whose objective is to infect as many Survivors as they can. When a Survivor is eliminated by an Infected player, they themselves join the Infected team. The match ends when the timer runs out or all Survivors get turned Infected.

Gun Game

MW2 Gun Game is a free-for-all mode where players must progress through a cycle of 18 different weapons, culminating with a Throwing Knife. Every time you get a kill in Gun Game, you will advance to a new weapon. Get a kill with all 18 weapons, including the Throwing Knife, to win Gun Game.

Grind

Grind is a twist on Kill Confirmed. In Grind, players must eliminate members of the opposing team and collect their dog tags. You can stack as many dog tags as you'd like, but to earn points for your team, you must bank the dog tags at specific turn-in locations. If you die without banking your dog tags, all the dog tags on your person will drop.

The first squad to bank a total of at least 60 dog tags wins in Grind!

Drop Zone

Another team-based MW2 Party Mode, Drop Zone tasks two competing teams with capturing and holding Drop Zones. For every 15 seconds that you hold a Drop Zone, a Care Package containing a Killstreak will drop nearby. Capture as many Drop Zones as possible to stack Killstreaks and decimate the opposing team.

All or Nothing

In MW2 All or Nothing, you're equipped with only Throwing Knives and a pistol with no ammunition in it. To win, you must be the first player to achieve 20 eliminations.

As you eliminate enemies in All or Nothing, you will gain Perks to aid you in battle. For example, the Scavenger Perk will allow you to collect ammo for your pistol.

One in the Chamber

One in the Chamber is an intense Party Mode with high stakes. Each player begins the match with a mere three lives, a pistol, and just a single bullet.

In One in the Chamber, enemies die in one shot to any part of the body, and if you get a kill, you'll gain another bullet for your next encounter. However, if you miss, you'll have to get up close and personal to secure kills.

That wraps up the MW2 Party Modes — for now, at least. Until further notice, Infected, Gun Game, Grind, Drop Zone, All or Nothing, and One in the Chamber are all the Party Modes available for players to enjoy in MW2.
