You'll be able to change a handle or blade in Lies of P by either talking to Eugenie in Hotel Krat or using any Stargazer after you've beaten the Mad Donkey boss early in the game and received the Enigma Assembly Tool from Geppetto.
Click to enlargeOnce you have done so, you just then need to use a Stargazer or speak to Eugenie and choose the "Assemble Weapons" option to start swapping out weapon handles and blades as you wish.
Each handle and blade has its own look, stats, and Fable Arts which make for its own interesting combination when combined with an opposite component different from its original weapon. So, be sure to experiment to determine which blade-and-handle combo works best for you to fit your playstyle in Lies of P.
How to alter handle in Lies of P
