Football Manager 2024 minimum PC & Mac system requirements
It’s the time of year to look towards what system requirements are required for the latest edition of Football Manager. FM24 is not the most intensive game in the world, but the database is bigger than last year, and with the new match engine you will need a bit more power than in previous years.
For the most part, FM24 involves looking at data and spreadsheets, but depending on how big you decide to have your database and how many leagues you have switched on it can slow the game down, especially if you don’t have a very powerful PC.
The game can also be played on Mac as well, so we will also include what version of Mac is required as well as the minimum PC system requirements needed to fulfil your dream of becoming the greatest football manager of all time.

To run Football Manager 2024 with acceptable performance, your PC will need to meet the minimum system requirements - and the same applies to Mac users. You can find those below.
Minimum system requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10/11 with updates - 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64 X2
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 - requires 256MB VRAM and DirectX® 11
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 7 GB available space
- Additional Notes: Display: 1024x768. Performance scales with higher-end systems.
Mac system requirements:
- OS: 11/12/13 with updates
- Processor: Apple M1 or Intel Core M
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Apple M1, Intel HD Graphics 5000, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M - requires 256MB VRAM and Metal
- Storage: 7 GB available space
That's all you need to know about the system requirements you'll need on both PC and Mac to get your dream FM save going. Alternatively, the game is also released on mobile and console if you would prefer to play it there, but they’re different versions of the game.
