The Elden Ring Age of Order ending is similar to the default ending, but it improves the way of life in the Lands Between by restoring the Golden Order and removing the influence of the Outer Gods. The Elden Ring endings cause massive changes to the world, ranging from maintaining the deadly status quo to tearing it down completely. So, take a look at how to get the Elden Ring Age of Order ending and ascend the throne as the Elden Lord.

To get the Age of Order ending, players will need to progress through the Elden Ring Corhyn quest. We detail each step of the quest in the previous link, but following it to its conclusion will let you earn the Mending Rune of Perfect Order from Goldmask, which is vital to getting this ending. It's worth noting that if you get too far in the game's story by getting to Crumbling Farum Azula, you won't be able to follow the steps of this quest, and it will lock you out of the ending.

If you follow the correct steps and get the rune, continue progressing through the story until you have defeated the Elden Beast, the final fight of the game. After this, you will be transported to an area inside the Erdtree, where you can see the fractured body of Marika. Go up and interact with her, then you will be able to select the Mending Rune of Perfect Order, resulting in the cutscene for the Age of Order ending to begin. This essentially creates a utopian version of the Lands Between, but our Elden Ring endings guide goes into more detail.

That's our walkthrough of how to get the Elden Ring Age of Order ending, and now you know how to acquire the Mending Rune of Perfect Order so you can use it at the end of the game.

Looking for one of the game's legendary armaments? Here's how to acquire the powerful Elden Ring Sword of Night and Flame.
