Legend and Master Lost Sectors rotate each day, and during Season of the Deep we can expect to find them on the Moon, in the Cosmodrome, and in Savathun's Throne World.

Where is the Master Lost Sector today in Destiny 2?

The Master Lost Sector today is also Sepulcher in Savathun's Throne World. As it happens, the Legend and Master Lost Sectors are always the same, so there's no need to look for one or the other.
While you can tackle the daily Lost Sector rotation on either difficulty, for the most part, you are better off sticking with Legend. There is a slightly higher chance of getting an exotic drop on Master, but the difference is negligible. Master Lost Sectors are extremely high level - way beyond just hitting the Pinnacle cap.
Aside from the power difference, there are also more Champions to contend with in Master Lost Sectors. If you want the extra challenge then, by all means, go for it. Just know that if your only aim is to get exotic armour, you should stick with Legend difficulty.

Legend and Master Lost Sector enemies and modifiers

Today, Unstoppable and Barrier Champions are on the menu. Be sure to configure your loadout to include means of dealing with both, as you will not be able to change it after you start the Lost Sector.
Then for your modifiers, you're going to be taking extra Solar damage, while dishing out more Strand and Arc damage.
Overcharged Weapons will grant bonus damage to your kinetic weapons and to your fusion rifles, and Fire Pit will have defeated Acolytes dropping pools of fire when they die.

Destiny 2 Lost Sector rewards today

Exotic boots are up for grabs in today's Legend and Master Lost Sector.
Completing a Lost Sector on Legend of Master does not guarantee a specific piece of armour or even an exotic drop, but they are quite likely to happen. Each Lost Sector grants one type of armour, and you will only get armour that is applicable to the character you are currently playing.
- After a Lost Sector, you might be ready for a dungeon like Destiny 2 Duality.
Destiny 2 Lost Sectors: What They Are And How To Find Them

Every open-world space in Destiny 2 has several Lost Sectors dotted around them. Lost Sectors have a particular symbol (pictured above), you can see it on the map indicating their locations. Use the symbol on the map to find the location, then look for the symbol on a wall that indicates the entrance to the Lost Sector.
Destiny 2 Lost Sectors function like short little dungeon areas. They occasionally have some extra mechanics but for the most part, they just involve fighting through a large group of enemies and defeating a boss at the end.
Defeating the boss unlocks the chest, where you can grab your reward. Regular completions don't award you with much beyond the early game, but completing Lost Sectors on Legend or Master difficulty can award you exotic armour.
