To find the location of the Lifeguard Hut Safe key in Dead Island 2, you will first need to complete a quest in Venice Beach called 'The Giant-Slayer', then travel to the bottom of the beach itself.

How to get the Lifeguard Hut Safe key

• Complete 'The Giant-Slayer' main story quest in Venice Beach, then start the 'Beach Offensive' quest. 
• Travel to the beach itself, and follow the shore down to the very bottom.

• You will come across a named zombie called Brody the Lifeguard near the corner of the map.
• Kill him, and he'll drop the Dead Island 2 Lifeguard Safe Hut key for you to pick up.
• Head to the first lifeguard hut you see directly north, and turn off the generator outside to gain access.

You can now use the Lifeguard Hut Safe key to open up the Venice Lifeguard's Safe and grab the powerful weapon inside.
