How to complete 'Like and Follow' in Dead Island 2

When you don't feel like engaging with the Dead Island 2 main story, there are a series of side quests and objectives you can take part in, ranging from collecting keys, to completing Lost and Found missions.

Side quests offer an opportunity to see the stories of the background characters in the game and grab new rewards, so you may want to know how to complete Like and Follow. 

How do you complete Like and Follow?

The Like and Follow quest can only be started after finishing the final main story mission Hollywood Ending. You will need to travel to the Santa Monica pier and locate Amanda Styles on a nearby roof.

There are three main objectives you'll need to complete in this quest:

• Use electricity to zap 16 zombies to death.
• Decapitate 12 zombies.
• Yeet 14 zombies off the edge of the pier.

Each goal will be approached one at a time, and constant waves of zombies will come at you, so ensure you are stocked up on med-kits. It may also be useful to use a weapon with the Electrocuter mod or Impactor mod, due to the first and final objective. 

Like and Follow walkthrough

Once you've picked up the quest, you'll need to turn on the dodgems behind you by flicking the switch in the red and white striped hut.

Once the electricity is one, the objective to electrify 16 zombies will begin. We suggest using the water jerry cans around the area to create puddles near the live wires. You can also use weapons with the Electrocuter mod to speed things up.

Once you've finished this objective, Amanda will run off down the pier, so follow it along until you reach the ferris wheel and she will appear another building nearby.

After speaking to her, your new objective will be to decapitate 12 zombies. This just requires you to use a sharp weapon like a sword or katana, and aim for the head. You can also use the ninja stars curveball for this section. 

Once you've finished the aforementioned objective, you will need to follow Amanda again, this time to the broken octopus ride nearby.

After speaking to her again, you'll get the final objective to kick zombies off the pier. There is a hole in the fence behind the octopus that you can use for the objective. We suggest letting zombies run to you, and dodging them, or using the flying kick move when they are near the edge. You can also use a weapon with the Impactor mod, as it will launch zombies if you hit them enough. 

Once the final objective has been finished, the quest will be complete and you'll be rewarded with 4000 XP, a nailgun, and a Rare Ranged Electrocuter mod.
