You can figure out the correct order by reading the Stained Book, located on an altar on the east side of the mausoleum. The book contains a particular line that gives you the solution to the puzzle, which tells the story of Ketheric Thorm's fall: "From splendour, to tragedy, to infamy."

Be careful of the traps in the Baldur's Gate 3 Thorm Mausoleum, as if you get the order wrong, the room will be struck with darkness and activating the trap plates will shoot magic bolts that damage anyone in front of them.

This won't be an issue if you get the order correct the first time, but if you fail at first, just ungroup your character and get them to activate the murals alone, which makes avoiding the traps easier.

Once the Thorm Mausoleum puzzle has been solved in Baldur's Gate 3, the General mural will open and allow you to take a lift down to the Gauntlet of Shar.

That's our full walkthrough of how to solve the Thorm Mausoleum puzzle in Baldur's Gate 3, and now you know what it takes to access the Gauntlet of Shar.
