You'll Soon Be Able To Vote On The Next Minecraft Mob

Minecraft Live, the spiritual successor of MineCon, will begin on Saturday, October 3. Being broadcasted on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook and in nine different languages, Minecraft Live is set to reveal the future of Minecraft including “huge updates” and most interestingly the ability to vote for one of three new mobs that may be introduced to the game.

Three new mobs to vote on

Voting in 2020 is important, so Mojang will allow viewers to participate in the choice for their next Minecraft mob. You will be able to cast your vote on the game’s Twitter account once the show begins. The three mob types you may choose from are:

Moobloom

Mooshroom finally find their match. The four-legged flowery cow-like mob will be able to interact with bees though it’s unknown in exactly which ways. Can bees milk flowery cows? Perhaps in Minecraft they can! According to Mojang’s initial information, the mob will be found in Flower Forest Biomes.

Glow Squid

The fleshy lanterns of the deep sea are also up for vote. So far all that is known is that Glow Squids very much behave like regular squids and therefore won’t attack players on sight. Otherwise, they probably won’t add too much to the game other than accelerating other squiddy developments.

Iceologer

Last and certainly… well actually yeah least is the “cold-hearted illager from Minecraft Dungeons”, the Iceologer. Expected to live atop the new giant mountains, they are expected to not take kindly to the Reinhold Messner’s of the world, hurling icy projectiles at mountain climbers.

You can follow Minecraft Live starting on October 3 at 5pm BST / 6pm CEST / 12pm EDT / 9am PDT on Twitch.tv, YouTube, and Facebook.
