Warzone Players Want A Fortnite and Apex Feature Added Into The Game
Call of Duty: Warzone fanatics will have noticed that Activision often deal you a card which is much harder than the previous hand. Whether that's throwing you into a Diamond-rated lobby after having one good game, or giving you teammates that don't know the difference between an RPG and a Spud Gun, no one game is ever easier than the last.
Fans have now called for the developers to take a leaf out of the books of Fortnite and Apex Legends, and implement a feature that the respective developers have already adopted.
It's no lie that each battle royale learns from the next. For example, Respawn Entertainment were the trendsetters when it came to redeploying teammates, having Respawn Beacons which then prompted Fortnite's Reboot Vans, and Warzone's Buy Back-ability.
This time, Warzone fans are hoping that they take not of the circle locations and how they are revealed.
Many of the Warzone circles cram 150 players into a quarter of the map, as the circle is already decided whilst the population is diving in. Over in other battle royales, players are given the freedom of the whole map before the circle is decided, and fans have now called for this to be implemented into Warzone to prevent abhorrent bloodbaths from the first second.
Reddit user Classic_Ghost posted the suggestion to the Warzone Subreddit, with it now racking up 8,000 upvotes in support.
Despite the reluctant nature of Warzone fans to admit that Fortnite or Apex Legends are one step ahead in certain areas, this suggestion has been opened with welcome arms.
This feature was also present in Blackout, the Call of Duty franchises previous BR, which added fuel to the fire in this debate. It weighs more skill on rotations and map awareness, but it surely has to be better than the whole lobby landing at Prison, right? Although there, it's only a short trip to the Gulag.
