T-Pain has recently been confirmed to be contributing to the upcoming GTA 6 game.

While being able to work on the game is a huge achievement, and T-Pain is known to be a fan of the franchise, it has come with some unexpected consequences for the artist.

T-Pain will be contributing to GTA 6, he confirmed on social media

Faheem Rashad Najm, better-known T-Pain, is a singer-songwriter who has also recently announced that he is working on GTA 6.

In a viral clip, he confirmed that he will be working on the game, however it appears that one of his hobbies has been affected by the position.

In the video, T-Pain said: “I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on GTA VI, and they told me I couldn't do RP anymore because it kind of goes against... they had this whole speech, like, 'What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that.'”

“I'm like, 'Okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time. Alright, that's fine.'

It has not been confirmed at this stage what capacity T-Pain will be working on GTA 6 in, though it is definitely exciting to see that they are getting talent who are active in GTA communities involved in the project.

GTA role-play servers have a bigger role in GTA 6 than you may think

Despite T-Pain being told he was not allowed to visit the NoPixel server once he started working with Rockstar, the developers of the role-playing servers are surprisingly involved in the upcoming games development themselves.

In August Cfx.re, the team that created the biggest Rockstar role-play, became an official part of Rockstar Games.

This saw several fans of the franchise pleased that Rockstar was willing to work with modders as opposed to shutting them down.

It has since been confirmed that they are solely focussing on their creator communities FiveM and RedM, not the development of GTA 6.

Naturally, T-Pain was not impressed with the involvement of the role-play server devs, especially as he had to give up playing himself.

He said: "I started working on the game with them and then they teamed up with the people that make the RP sh*t, and I'm like, 'Wait a minute, what? What the f**ck?...Y'all tell me I can't do this sh*t and then you team up with the people that enable the RP?"

Though the decision to stop T-Pain from engaging in the GTA 5 role-play communities is an unusual one, it has clearly not deterred him and whatever role he is undertaking in GTA 6 is exciting enough for him to give up the pass time.
