Resolve Esports is preparing to make its mark on the United Kingdom as the company has secured funding and wants to become of the country's top teams for League of Legends. Better yet, Resolve also plans to open the doors to a state of the art esports centre in London.

The team was founded by Ilias "Rai" Pajoheshfar in 2019 but started out back in 2015. It was originally founded as a community of gamers - with a focus on self-improvement through esports. With League of Legends at its core, Resolve quickly grew to include over 2,000 members. Now, it has secured funding from Esports Global.

The investment is headed up by Dave Martin and Chester King. Both plan to support Resolve's core aims by offering online coaching and by helping build London's esports centre. Speaking of which, the centre forms part of Resolve’s long-term vision. More information on the centre is expected at a later date.

Resolve’s main League of Legends team wont big at UK Esports League (UKEL) and is trying to qualify for the higher-tier UK League Championship (UKLC). The team is also taking part in UKLC Relegation Series on August 23 and 24 - vying for a spot in the Spring 2021 season. After this, Resolve also wants to hit the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) and  European Masters.

As it stands, the roster includes Sam "Artorias" Willis, Linas "Lyncas" Naunčikas, Edward "Pillar" Bush, Fayez "Dragdar" Ahmed, Kevin "Rychly" Rychly. Radu "Splitdis" Dorobantu serves as Head Coach, Ana Sabina "Myiana" Vasilescu is Manager, and Samuel "Montagne" Hine is the Head of Analytics.

Elsewhere, Resolve has a female League of Legends included Nathalie "Naelynn" Nováková, Ida "Emprez" Pedersen, Popescu "Ali" Alexandra Cristina, Adelina "Cathrine" Nälsén, and Anette "Pjush" Holm. James "The Governor" Gove is manager. Let's also not forget Resolve's academy team.

Discussing the investment, Ilias said, "Resolve is committed to supporting grassroots development within the UK and around the world, so I’m excited to have Dave and Chester from Esports Global on board.

"We share an exciting vision for what Resolve can be, and with our shared expertise we can compete with the top teams in the UK and Europe and lead the way in esports player development. We’re very ambitious and, with our focus on quality and innovation, we aim to have a positive impact on the esports ecosystem and cement ourselves as an organisation for the future."

Finally, Resolve has launched an online store where fans can buy Resolve jerseys and Razer products. There's also online League of Legends coaching via the Resolve Discord server.

Resolve is an esports organisation with a penchant for "the personal and professional development of individuals within esports". Using education, Resolve wants to "spread awareness of contemporary issues within esports such as addition, escapism and malpractice".

Important to the company are its core values of mental health, physical well-being, and resilience. This is achieved through a holistic approach to developing players and esports education. Resolve also encourages growth withing the UK esports community and wants to inspire people to "pursue their ambitions in a healthy way".
