While ARs and Battle Rifles are extremely effective at long-range in Warzone 2, nothing matches the firepower of an LMG.
These weapons may be bulky and sluggish, but they're capable of laser-beaming opponents with ease and wiping them off the map.
Despite this, very few are sitting in the top rankings at the moment, and for WhosImmortal, that's a mistake. There's one LMG in particular that the expert has labelled "overpowered" as it effectively has zero recoil in Warzone 2.
SAKIN MG38 loadout is OP in Warzone 2 Season 5

The biggest strength of the SAKIN MG38 is the gun's unbelievably forgiving recoil pattern, which makes locking onto targets a breeze at long range.
While other weapons may have better TTK stats on paper, none of that matters unless every bullet hits the mark, which can be difficult with so much kickback.
All of this comes together to create a "laser beam" loadout in Warzone 2. In the eyes of WhosImmortal, this makes it undoubtedly "overpowered."
It's worth noting that the SAKIN is a huge gun, which means it is very chunky and slow. As a result, running Overkill and a meta SMG will transform the setup from solid to top-tier.
How popular is the SAKIN MG38 in Warzone 2?
LMGs are in a tough spot in terms of popularity at the moment, and the SAKIN MG38 is certainly no different.
Sitting at thirty-sixth in the overall rankings with a 0.2% pick rate, almost no one in the community is using this powerful weapon.
Equipped with a solid time-to-kill and unmatched stability, it's clear players are sleeping on the SAKIN in Season 5.
So, if you're looking for a hidden gem that's also extremely easy to operate on Al Mazrah and Vondel, you can't go wrong with this pick.
