It's collab season in Call of Duty as Modern Warfare 3 enters that period in the annual arc where f**ks are thrown out of the window.

As the yearly cycle tips over the halfway stage and eyes begin to advert attention towards the next title, namely the unannounced Black Ops Gulf War reports, the realism and mil-sim feel of Call of Duty has been abandoned, and now the collabs are landing for pure vibes.

Following on from the footsteps of Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Lionel Messi, and Kevin Durant, the next real-life adaptation appears to be landing in a matter of weeks.

With the NBA regular season coming to a close later this month, and the Playoffs nearing, Call of Duty appears to be collaborating with the basketball league to bring some hype to the end of the season.

Having previously combined with the American sports league to bring in Kevin Durant to Call of Duty during MW2, it now looks like Devin Booker will join the front line in Modern Warfare 3.

According to renowned leaker "BobNetwork", Booker will be released as a skin in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded.

Ahead of his arrival in the series, CoD's pre-existing partner Kevin Durant has now dubbed his teammate Booker as the best Call of Duty player in the NBA.

Speaking in a Boardroom podcast, Durant said, "Booker is averaging like 12 [kills] a game on Resurgence," after hypothesizing an NBA private lobby match.

"Booker is ELITE. Elite," he added, before saying that he's the one player that the NBA could send out to rival the pros.

Both Booker and Durant could be skirting through Rebirth Island with their own skins as soon as Season 3 Reloaded.
