One of the most important aspects of any Warzone loadout is damage output and optimising your weapon to hit as hard as possible.

While recoil and stability are also key, the primary goal of any CoD competitor will always be to send their opponent to the Gulag in the blink of an eye.

Although the obvious picks in the Season 3 meta are the Bruen MK9, HRM-9, SOA Subverter, and Pulemyot 762, there are a few off-meta options that have destructive time-to-kills.

One of which is a Battle Rifle that has been notoriously hated since release for being underpowered, but has now been buffed to have absurd TTK.

The Sidewinder has never really found its footing in the Warzone meta, but WhosImmortal believes it finally has a chance to thrive thanks to a set of buffs in Season 3. With an increase in its bullet velocity from 770ms to 600ms and a decrease in sprint-to-fire, it's now a more well-rounded weapon that performs more consistently at long range.

If that wasn't enough, the Sidewinder in semi-auto mode has a destructive TTK of 858ms at 41m, meaning it can wipe out enemies in an instant.

These stats mean the Battle Rifle is "capable of ripping through anyone," and as the gun is rarely used, it's guaranteed to catch enemies off-guard.

In terms of the optic, the CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x is perfect for the Sidewinder, as it allows you to pinpoint every bullet on target - something that isn't always easy in semi-auto mode.

How popular is the Sidewinder in Warzone?

According to WZStats, the Sidewinder has an extremely low pick rate of just 0.29%, making it one of the lowest in the game and among the MW2 weapons.

Sorry, there has been an issue in subscribing to the newsletter.

This is primarily because the gun has garnered a reputation for being unusable despite multiple buffs that now make it solid in the right hands.

If you're a competitor always on the lookout for a hidden gem and want a break from the traditional meta, you have to try this setup.
