A recent tweet from Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckman has teased fans that The Last of Us Part 3 is coming.

When congratulating the composer of the franchise’s soundtrack, who has been honoured with a prestigious award, Druckman hinted at more collaboration with the composer on the horizon.

Fans of the game have concluded that The Last of Us 3 has been confirmed

After The Last of Us's composer Gustavo Santaolalla was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Recording Academy, Druckman took to Twitter to congratulate him.

Druckman said: “Congrats, maestro! What an incredible body of work! (But keep in mind... we have a lot more collaboration ahead of us!).”

Fans of The Last of Us quickly noted the suggestion that several projects involving the composer are coming.

The indication that there are “a lot more” collaborations on the way suggests that there is more than the already assumed season 2 of the television show coming.

There isn’t much known about what projects Naughty Dog has in the works at the moment, with The Last of Us multiplayer game currently on hold, so whatever the team is developing will likely excite fans..

While Druckman’s tweet was not able to be commented on, plenty of people reacted to it with excitement for The Last of Us Part 3.

One Twitter user said: “Did you just say… a lot more collaboration… oh my god girls does this mean what i think it means”

Another said: “They ain't even trying to hide they're working on TLoU Part III lmao.”

Whether or not the tweet was referencing the The Last Of Us TV show, another project or if it is, in fact, referring to the next game in the The Last of Us franchise, it is pretty clear that Naughty Dog has a lot more in the works.
