We're crawling the walls with excitement, as the latest Fortnite leaks claim the Spider-Verse is going to continue expanding in the battle royale favourite. Even though Chapter 3 Season 2 is coming to the end, Epic Games still has a few surprises up its sleeve.

Since Epic Games flipped the map for Chapter 3 Season 1, Spider-Man has been the poster boy for the revamped Fortnite. Peter Parker has since been joined by the likes of Mary Jane Watson and Green Goblin, but we've pretty much given up on our hopes of a Doc Ock skin. Thankfully, there could be one more spandex-clad supe joining the party.

Is Miles Morales Coming To Fortnite?

Alongside the return of lightsabers, it looks increasingly likely that the long-rumoured Miles Morales skin could be landing in the shop. If he's not coming as a general skin for Chapter 3 Season 2, he'll presumably swing into action for the start of Chapter 3 Season 3. The upcoming Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic will see the various Fortnite forces teaming up with the heroes and villains of Marvel Comics.

As revealed on Twitter, a variant cover for Issue #1 features Meowscles alongside Miles Morales. It's apparently a Marco Turini variant that's only available in the UK and is limited to just 3,000 issues. What's unclear is whether Miles will be coming on his own or as part of a bundle. We imagine him having a sweet Air Jordan back bling.

We guess Miles will be a free skin that comes with the first issue of the coming. An official Epic Games blog post has already confirmed the June 8 comic will come with a "Spider-Man-based Outfit." The Fortnite x DC: Zero Point comics famously introduced the Rebirth Harley Quinn skin, so we'd place our bets on Miles following in her footsteps.

When Will Miles Morales Land In Fortnite?

Introduced in 2011 - following the "death" of Peter Parker, Miles quickly became a cornerstone of Marvel's Spider-Man comics and was praised for adding more diversity. Of course, many will now know miles thanks to Shameik Moore's portrayal in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its upcoming sequels. Others have seen him take centre stage for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales from last year.

Miles has been rumoured since we first saw the Daily Bugle marked on the map. Only recently, the Prowler quests included a line of dialogue that hinted at his imminent arrival. Finally, Epic has tweaked the web-shooters, teasing that there will be more eight-legged action before the current war between the Seven the IO dies down. Welcome to the family, Miles.
