Since the first major leak for Grand Theft Auto 6 made its way to the internet, they've barely stopped. But then again, it was one of the biggest leaks the industry had seen in years.

The monstrous drop of pre-release footage from what is the most highly-anticipated game ever sent shockwaves through the gaming world, and whether it be legitimate or the work of opportunists making the most of gullibility and blind hype, leaks are pouring out regardless.

The internet is feeding fans what they want to see, and if all of these leaks are to be believed, GTA 6 is going to be something massive. Now, a GTA 6 map leak has indicated how much more of a playground we'll have in the upcoming game.

GTA 6's leaked map is miles bigger than Los Santos

A new Reddit post by the user Tusstaster has supposedly revealed the birdseye view of the new map for GTA 6, which is supposedly set in Vice City. It's compared to GTA V's Los Santos, and boy, it's a big one.

The map comparison shows that the new area extends further to the South of Los Santos in a series of small islands, and is at its widest in the North - it's unconfirmed if the map extends beyond the parameter of this view or will simply cut off.

Regardless, the GTA 6 map area is vastly bigger than its predecessor in every respect and implies that the new game will indeed be the franchise's largest foray yet. It's up to you to decide if the side-by-side is to be trusted, as Reddit can be home to fibres. Either way, it's an exciting tease of the upcoming game.

GTA 6's map leaker explains its POIs

In the comments of the Reddit post, the user who posted the map has circled back to explain what it holds in store. "There are countless Cities/Towns such as York Town, Red Hill, etc found in the files," they say. "Most of these locations point towards north of Port Gelhorn, making the map expand even further north."

This indicates that there's more to see, akin to the locale of GTA V's first mission. Although these are the first hints at what's to come, we need to wait for official word from Rockstar. The GTA 6 map will be a big deal, so don't expect the devs to reveal it just yet.

Whatever is on the way, it implies there's a lot more going on beneath the surface. Our latest adventure is getting ready to race into action, and as more details come to light, we'll hopefully get to see more of this massive map.
