Throughout the latter half of 2020, FaZe Clan has been allowing content creators and gaming streamers across the globe the chance to join their prestigious team.

Known for high calibre gaming alongside gimmicks and tricks, FaZe Clan has been offering five places in their ranks to people over the age of eleven who believed their skills are a match. This could be in a range of fields, through games such as Warzone or Fortnite, to Tik Tok extraordinaires, or even arts and crafts masters.

After shortlisting a 100-name candidate list through thousands of two-minute long cameos of their finest work, FaZe have been looking to narrow it down to their winners.

Now, the first name has been revealed. Introducing FaZe Faxuty.

Faxuty has made his name through the popular title Fortnite, where his ridiculous skill has combined with a swagger of arrogance befitting a champion.

As the first winner of the FaZe Five, Faxuty earns himself a whopping $20,000 sign-on bonus, a sponsorship with Game Fuel, and as he is the first winner FaZe's sponsor Nissan has gifted him a brand-spanking SUV.

In the reveal, FaZe Clan members reflected on the moment that they knew he was the one to join. by going back to his quote early in the process of the event: "Call it FaZe Four baby because I'm already in".

With just four spots now remaining, the other names will be revealed at a later date. FaZe has opened the accounts with a Fortnite streamer which is the first time a non-Call of Duty gamer has won, and have been persistent from the start that they are looking to add much more diversity to their ranks. Could we see another announcement akin to "albert" joining Luminosity?
