Fall Guys Lego Set Could Be On The Way To 'Click' With Fans
Something has clearly "clicked" between Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and the gaming scene as Mediatonic's pint-sized battle royale brawl could be getting its own Lego set. Those tiny Danish bricks are everywhere as one of the most profitable toys of all time, and with Fall Guys being the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time, it makes sense that these two giants should join forces.
In the past, we've seen Lego sets for everything for Star Wars to Harry Potter, Batman to Stranger Things. These days, it's much more than building a colourful house or a pirate ship, as some of the biggest pop culture franchises in the world get in on the action. The gaming industry is no stranger to getting a Lego makeover. Only recently, Nintendo launched its own fun-filled Mario line. Still, the Fall Guys Lego set is the one we've secretly always known we needed since the game launched in August.
Lego has showcased the latest batch of sets that have made it into the elusive Lego Review. The site showcased the Fall Guys Lego set, which is basically an amalgamation of some of the most iconic Fall Guys courses. Creator "The Real Ashnflash" explained, "This endless game of fun and frustration felt like a no-brainer to try and make into a LEGO set! This game would fit so perfectly with LEGO and could expand beyond just one set".
Lifting the lid on what can be found in the box, they continued, "Fall Guys has 24 courses in total and I've taken some of the best and iconic elements from those courses and thrown them into one GIANT customizable course. The set consists of six 'Fall Guys' which is fitting since the number of players competing is 60. There's three classic coloured ones, and of course there had to be some wacky and iconic outfits! There's the pirate, pineapple and unicorn who were the best to put in the set since no new pieces can be used in the set".
A record-breaking 35 ideas hit the 10,000 supporter threshold to qualify for review. The ideas reached the milestone between early May September 7. Alongside the Fall Guys course, other highlights include sets based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, Schitt's Creek, and even an Animal Crossing crossover with Nook's Cranny. That being said, our personal favourite is the Sanderson Sisters' house from Hocus Pocus. Complete with all three of those wicked witches, there's also the black flame candle, Thackery Binx, and Winifred's spellbook.
We'll have to wait and see which of the sets make it into actual production and whether the Fall Guys Lego set has the might of those bouncing beans to go all the way. With the set covering everything from Whirlygig to See Saw and Door Dash, here's hoping this is one that will "qualify" for the final round.
