Vanilla World of Warcraft (WoW) is about to add some esports chunks and that ain’t a stretch, I tell ya. The WoW Classic Fall Conquest will pit groups of 15 against each other on Arathi Basin. Starting on October 3, the competition will run for three weeks with tournaments in both Europe and North America with $6,000 (~£4,600) up for grabs.

Players will need a level 60 character and 14 friends to participate, with sign-ups available for Europe and North America.

You have time to sign up until October 1 in EU and October 8 in NA. For Europe, the qualifiers will start on the 3rd at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST while North America will begin on the 10th also at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST. If you just want to catch the finals action, you can do so for the European finals on the 17th and for the North American finals on the 18th of October.

You can join the Fall Conquest discord server to keep up to date with all the action here. 6pm BST / 7pm CEST.

Arathi Basin had been made available on March 11th in WoW Classic in the gated rollout of vanilla content. Vanilla WoW, as the initial game is called, had been brought back to Blizzard servers just over a year ago. Since then, it has enjoyed immense success with large amounts of players returning to the now almost 16-year-old game.
