Fortnite's crossovers grow more and more outlandish by the day. It's practically made bizarre cameos its brand at this point, roping in characters from the universes of Marvel, DC, and Star Wars to make the battle royale titan a strange mismatch of styles and ideas... and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We can finally answer the question of whether Batman or Superman would win in a fight (even if it means they're restricted exclusively to Boogie Bombs), and we're all the better for it - and now, we've got a look at a new crossover which may be one of the most unexpected yet.

Doctor Who Crossover With Fortnite Revealed

It looks like the sci-fi icon Doctor Who could be making its way to Fortnite, though in quite a strange way. It's not confirmed that we're getting skins or any of the battle royale good stuff, but there's fresh cosmetics on the way regardless.

It was previously leaked, but it has now been officially announced that a Doctor Who creative map is coming to the game, as seen in the official tweet below. The maps sees you and your pals repair the Tardis, compete in the Kerblam warehouse, and explore a Doctor Who museum.

It might not be exactly what fans would hope for in a Doctor Who collab, but it's certainly something - and it's still giving fans a fun new cosmetic item in the process.

Doctor Who Collab Officially Reveals TARDIS Spray

As previously revealed by Egyptian_Leaker, playing the creative map can reward players a brand new spray of the TARDIS for players to unlock and bring into the battle royale. All you have to do is repair the TARDIS on the map before April 24, and it's all yours.

Though it might not be exactly what fans might want from a Doctor Who crossover, it looks like a lot of fun and should tide fans over until the new series - Now give us a Tenth Doctor skin, you cowards.
