Call Of Duty Confirms 'Pro Perks' For Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone 2

With the Call of Duty: Next countdown in full swing, preparing for the new era of the franchise, teasers and leaks have not been short in supply. Now, the latest glimpse into the future has confirmed the return of a variety of fundamental multiplayer perks that will arrive in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Perks have moved on quite a lot from the Cold Blooded and Martyrdom combination that was persistent back in the 2009 Modern Warfare 2 instalment when you had to duck and dive your way through thermal scopes on Wasteland to begin to gain momentum.

Nowadays, the perk game is stronger and more sophisticated than ever before. That doesn't mean the stalwarts are any weaker though, and the latest teaser has confirmed the cream of the crop will be coming back in the perk medley this year.

Classic Perks Confirmed For Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

Coming to both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is a range of perks that fans will be more than familiar with. 

Thanks to the latest snippet of the CoD: Next countdown, fans have been able to identify the logos and badges of perks such as Lightweight, Sleight of Hand, Restock, Ghost, and Hardline.

The listed perks have been part of the furniture in the armoury of every player for as long as we can remember, and will continue to serve as crucial components of future loadouts.

New Modern Warfare 2 Teaser Suggests That 'Pro Perks' Will Return

Interestingly, some of the icons appear as their 'Pro' variant. Pro perks are an upgraded version of their original perk, adding a boost, which can be obtained by completing a range of challenges. For example, Hardline Pro reduced the number of deaths required for a 'deathstreak' by one and combined two assists as one kill in players' killstreaks.

The Hardline Pro symbol features a heartbeat on a star symbol and can be seen in the Modern Warfare 2 teaser. Pro perks haven't been seen since Modern Warfare 3 (2011). 

With the Modern Warfare 2 beta fast approaching, we can expect to be rocking these perks in the coming days.
