Just as teams prepare to tackle Major IV, Activision has finally revealed that the Call of Duty League World Championships will be held in Las Vegas on June 15-18.

The CDL has just two majors left until Champs, with a studio-based event in Ohio being followed by a trip to Canada to play the final qualifying round at the home of Toronto Ultra.

With Vegas calling though, Activision has also revealed that the chips are up for the CDL winners too, who will be playing at the Thomas and Mack Center.

CDL 2023 World Championships announced for Las Vegas in June

With Atlanta FaZe hoping to retain their CDL title, the 2023 season will conclude in Vegas, as the top eight teams in the league will all qualify, and the four bottom teams will lick their wounds from home.

As the pinnacle event of Call of Duty esports, the 2023 World Championships is to be held in Vegas, the home of the relocated Legion brand, who are set to hold on to their eight-placed seed having qualified for a winners bracket for the first time in the franchise's history in major IV.

Where is the Call of Duty 2023 World Championships being held?

This year, the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas will be hosting the World Championships, and tickets for the Modern Warfare 2 season's summit will be doing on pre-sale as of April 19.

Having already dished out $2,750,000 in prize money throughout the 2023 campaign (split as $500,000 for the Majors and $250,000 for the Pro-Am event), its predicted that the League's best teams will be competing for their share of $2,500,000 at Champs, matching the last two years.

The winning team will likely receive just shy of 50% of the overall prize pool, with 25% going to second and the final teams settling for a dwindling prize depending on their finish.

The 2023 World Championships will be held on June 15-18, where the Modern Warfare 2 campaign will come to a scintillating climax.
