Season 4 still has a few tricks up its sleeve

Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may be winding down Season 4, but that hasn't stopped Infinity Ward rolling out the big guns with another update and some surprising changes to the sharp-shooting favourites.

Hot off the heels of announcing a double XP event to round off Season 4, the devs have revealed what's been updated this week. The big news for Warzone is that the Juggernaut Royale Quads mode is back.

Plucky players will go head-to-head to try and claim the supersized suit. It won't be an easy task, and Activision has advised using LMGs and launchers for those who are brave enough to take on the Juggernaut.

Elsewhere, Warzone has brought back the Blood Money Trios mode. It will sit alongside regular rotating playlists that include Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quad. If anyone needs a refresher on Blood Money Trios, it's similar to Plunder, except you're guaranteed money for every kill.

Modern Warfare is celebrating two new multiplayer playlists with the introduction of Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone. Sure to pique the interest of players, Deathmatch Domination is more than your standard deathmatch as teams are required to capture and hold a location, while also getting kills to earn points.

Drop Zone adds another twist thanks to killstreaks only being available when players are holding the objective. Finally, Infinity Ward is bringing back Shoot House 24/7 and Shipment 24/7, meaning there couldn't be a better time to try and raise your rank or weapon level.

Bearing in mind these modes will be rotated next week, you'd better be quick if you want a slice of the slaughter pie. Even if most of us are looking ahead to Season 5 and the potential of a loot train hurtling across the Verdansk map, there's still plenty to keep us playing both Modern Warfare and Warzone.
