The deployment of a new patch in Warzone means fresh content has arrived in the game, and balance changes have been implemented. You'd assume this means it's a great time to jump into the action, but that isn't always the case.
Updates also mean a huge spike in technical issues that affect the gameplay, and while some are barely noticeable, others can cause a massive amount of frustration.
This was certainly the case for Season 1 Reloaded, which has been labelled the worst Warzone update of all time. One example of this is a game-breaking bug that is deploying competitors under the map after they win a Gulag.
Warzone Gulag bug is deploying players under the map
As showcased by the popular Call of Duty account ModernWarzone, streamer Mason "Symfuhny" Lanier ran into a strange bug during his Warzone session.
After killing an enemy in the Gulag and earning his spot back on Urzikstan, Sym expected to drop straight back into the mix with his squad.
This wasn't the case, though, with him instead being deployed directly under the map. This left him parachuting down into the void. Calling on his allies to look down, all of them were confused when they saw their teammate's nametag slowly disappearing under their feet.
Raven Software has apologised for Warzone Season 1 Reloaded
As you would expect, the Season 1 Reloaded update hasn't been the proudest moment for Raven Software, with the studio announcing an apology for the update.
While this will be enough for most fans to move on, especially with MW3 Ranked finally going live, this is certainly going to be a patch to remember.
It just goes to show that no matter how many exciting additions are added, glitches and technical issues can ruin all of it for the community.
