Apex Legends Mobile Is Officially In Closed Beta
After Respawn Entertainment and EA confirmed that Apex Legends was landing on mobile, millions of anticipating fans have been twiddling their thumbs or diving back onto the console game which has seen an extraordinary start to life in 2021.
As the screen-tapping community have been awaiting the first iterations of the game, Respawn Entertainment has now scarped together their first efforts and released it to a small selection of the public.
Apex legends Mobile is now officially in its closed beta stage.
How to play the Apex Legends Closed Beta
Unfortunately for the large majority of players, Apex Legends Mobile closed beta will not be available in your region. The developers have only released the title in the Philippines, and only to non-iOS mobile users.
Those in the region who registered for the beta through the Google Play Store will have received invitations to the closed beta via email. Alternatively, if you are within the region and registered, but haven't received an invite, the app should be ready for download from the Google Play Store.

When Will Apex Legends Mobile Be Available?
The next wave of closed beta testing is suspected to be rolled out in India, with tests coming within the next month. Previously, Game Director on Apex Legends, Chad Grenier, said: "The first of these [beta tests] begins Spring 2021, and will only be available on Android devices. As we continue with testing, we’ll expand the size of these tests, add new regions, and implement iOS support."
With Grenier's comments in mind, it is likely that Respawn will eventually look towards Europe and America for beta tests, but only as the app enters its final stages of beta testing.
Apex Legends Mobile is set for launch this year, so your thumb-twiddling shouldn't have to wait too much longer - maybe try the new Arena's game mode if you need something to get your appetite stirred.
