Since her arrival to the games shortly after the addition of Storm Point, Apex Legends' Ash has barely got her foot through the meta door, only for it to be slammed shut in her face.

And yet with Hammonds Robotics surgically enhancing Revenant, Ash would be absolutely entitled to be quite p*ssed off.

But with more major changes on the horizon, with Storm Point being one, fans have now derived one easy method to fixing Ash in Apex Legends, tweaking her abilities and making her viable again.

Apex Legends fans think they can "fix" Ash

Ash did peak in Apex Legends Season 16, but still only managed a record high of a 5.1% pick rate (according to Apex Legends Status), and has since dropped back down beneath the 3% mark, meaning every two out of three games won't have a single Ash character in its lobby.

Now though, one Reddit user has identified ways of fixing her, singling out her Ultimate as the main focus of buffs that would see her become pickable again.

The user "FlannOff" has now designed some changes, which include lengthening her Phase Breach and adding a higher-risk-higher-reward element to the Arc Snare.

How to fix Apex Legends' Ash, according to fans

The Reddit user first identified the Ultimate, Phase Breach, as the biggest issue, claiming that it was often not possible to use and should have a similar icon to Lifeline's Care Package icon which glows red when it is being obstructed; this would allow the Phase to be correctly placed and used more efficiently to disengage or attack.

They also claimed an 18m increase in range (from 62 to 80) would make it more usable "in the heat of the battle".

As for the Arc Snare, they claimed that making it harder to hit by having a reduced circle, but having a better and longer effect on the assailant would make Ash a good pick for high-risk players.

Despite only being small and simple buffs, this might actually be the easiest-to-fix legend in the game, where her kit and hunting prowess will suit the upcoming meta.
