It's the clothing collaboration we never knew we needed, but the one we'll definitely be asking for under our Christmas tree this year. As Insomniac Games returns to the spandex-clad world of heroes and villains with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Adidas is now working alongside the game to release these Spidey-inspired trainers. While 2018's OG game put Peter Parker front and centre, Miles Morales shifts focus to the junior hero for his own adventure.

Don't get us wrong, we love Peter Parker and his geeky charm. However, when it comes to sheer cool factor, Mile has it by the bucket load. You only have to listen to Miles Morales' orchestral soundtrack mixed with street music to see things are a little crisper. With this in mind, Adidas is now letting you dress like the man himself - and no, we don't mean in the animated Into the Spider-Verse suit.

What are the Miles Morales trainers?

Although Miles is usually seen wearing Nike Air Jordan 1's like in Into the Spider-Verse, his choice of footwear is getting a revamp this time around. Now, you can buy the exact shoes he wears in-game. A release for the collab (via IGN) explained, "Miles is a stylish teenager from Brooklyn who has just moved to Harlem.

"In the beginning of the game he has designed his own Spider Suit out of sportswear (and) everyday clothing he loves to wear. But it wouldn't be a Spider-Man suit without drip, and Miles needed some killer sneakers to complete the look. Enter Adidas".

The shoes are a four-way partnership between Insomniac Games, PlayStation, Marvel Games, and Adidas. Alongside Miles' signature colour scheme, the shoes are a homage to the Adidas Superstar silhouette that's celebrating its 50th anniversary. The release continued, "It's a classic design, connected to New York, and quintessentially Adidas, and one that features the timeless colors for which Spider-Man is most known: the black suit with the red spider icon".

There's a variant of the Miles shoes with both hi-top and low-top Adidas Superstar silhouettes being worn by Web-Head during the campaign. His shoe will change depending on which suit he's wearing. You'll have to play the game yourself to find out which suit goes with which shoe.

As for the limited edition shoes, you can pick up Miles' trainers from adidas.com in the USA, Canada, and Asia-Pacific regions on November 19. If you live in the UK, you can get the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Superstar shoes from December 3. At the moment, they're listed on adidas.co.uk for £49.95 and only available in kid's sizes, so here's hoping us bigger kids also get a chance to try them on for size.
