A Fortnite x Transformers collab may have just leaked

It's fascinating just how excited we still get when we find out about new pop culture collaborations coming to Fortnite. After all, what's next to topple?

It feels as though everybody has come to Fortnite by now, from Goku to Batman, and the entire cast of Star Wars in tow too. But, it never ends - rumours of a Doctor Who collab have been winning fans over, and as ever, the game always seems to surprise us with new characters that we never knew we wanted to drop onto the game's ever-shifting island.

And now it looks like a new collab is on the way - and it could be a pretty big part of the upcoming season.

As will be of no surprise to anyone, Fortnite is planning yet more collaborations - and it looks as though the Autobots could be dropping onto the island during the upcoming season.

A new segment of a loading screen has been shared to the GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit that shows Optimus Prime, the popular leader of the Transformers clan of Autobots, running towards the camera alongside other new skins. He's much smaller than we remember him, but we'll take it.

It's interesting to see him here, especially as he's taking such a size downgrade - but his appearance on this loading screen also implies something else.

The very fact that Optimus has appeared in this loading screen with other skins is interesting in itself, as each season has its own loading screen, packed with skins from the battle pass. If this loading screen is the one that Epic Games will be using to promote the season itself, it would come as no surprise to see Optimus become the character waiting at the end of the battle pass or end up as a secret skin.

Regardless of how he'll show up, the fact that he's showing up at all is enough for fans. Who's ready to roll out?
