YuGiOh Master Duel Crafting: How To Craft Cards

The YuGiOh Master Duel crafting system allows players to create cards and decks of their choosing, by dismantling unwanted cards for crafting points. YuGiOh has thousands of cards to choose from and use in your decks, so allowing you to craft specific cards gives you more control over your deckbuilding. The YuGiOh Master Duel crafting system lets you dismantle or generate cards, from a pool of crafting points (CP) that are split by card rarity - with normal CP, rare CP, super rare CP, and ultra rare CP. Dismantling a card will reward you with ten CP in the corresponding rarity, so for example, dismantling a SR card, will give you ten super rare crafting points. You can only use the points to generate a card of that same rarity, so to craft an UR card will require at least three UR cards to be dismantled. 

Generating a card costs 30 CP, and the card will immediately be put into your card list, where you can select it for your decks. All crafting is achieved from the 'Deck' menu, and you need to either own or copy a card into your 'Deck' screen to craft it. For example, if you want to craft a card that you do not own, search for it from the 'My Deck' screen, and copy the deck that it appears in. You can then access that back in the 'My Deck' screen, and selecting the card will giver you the option to craft it.

A further benefit of crafting is that it lets you access the YuGiOh Master Duel secret decks. Once you generate a SR or UR card from a specific deck - like we highlighted above - you can access the relevant deck in the store, and purchase packs to further build it up. So, for example, if you want to build a deck of Worms, you would need to craft a Worm King card (or other card of that rarity or more), and then access the Invaders from Outer Space secret card pack in the store.
