Blizzard has just dropped the World of Warcraft hotfix patch notes for January 24 2023. World of Warcraft is the most popular MMO in the entire gaming landscape, and after multiple expansions and changes throughout its lifespan, it still continues to draw in the crowds.

With millions of players jumping in and checking out the incredibly immersive fantasy world, it also comes with its share of problems. Whether it be glitches, bugs, or changes that need to be implemented, Blizzard does a great job at keeping on top of things.

The latest hotfix looks to address a variety of issues relating to certain dungeons and raids in the game. If you want to know what's included in the World of Warcraft hotfix for January 24 2023, then we have all the patch notes ready for you.

While the World of Warcraft hotfix patch doesn't do too much to drastically change the game, it does implement some fixes players have been asking for. The majority relate to certain moves increasing pet damage, which has now been nerfed.

Additionally, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic has also received a small change:

Dungeons and Raids

  • Algeth’ar Academy
    • Echo of Doragosa
      • Fixed an issue causing Overwhelming Power to not increase pet damage.
  • Shadowmoon Burial Grounds
    • Nhallish
      • Fixed an issue causing Returned Soul to not increase pet damage.
  • Temple of the Jade Serpent
    • Lorewalker Stonestep
      • Fixed an issue causing Feeling of Superiority to not increase pet damage.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

  • The Transitus Shield will no longer dismount flying players or prevent flying.

It's not the biggest patch in the world, but the World of Warcraft hotfix aims to quickly rectify a few certain problems that players have been facing. Updates are pretty consistent in the game, so expect another set of patch notes in the near future.
