While you get to know each and every character on a personal level during your time in The Witcher 3, certain facts such as their age can remain a mystery. Luckily, for those players who are able to put two and two together, it’s fairly easy to determine the age of our heroes.

One of the most elusive is Yennefer, who may look quite young but is actually much older than you may think.

How old is Yennefer in The Witcher 3?

In The Witcher 3, and the series in general, Yennefer is an extremely powerful sorceress. This allows her to look incredibly young, despite having years of experience tucked behind her. While this is all well and good for her, it makes it incredibly tough for players to determine her age.

However, with some basic maths, we can roughly pinpoint Yennefer’s age in The Witcher 3. According to the games, Yennefer was born in 1173, way before the events of The Witcher 3, or even other titles in the series for that matter, but with the time frame of the game, we can pinpoint whereabouts her age lies.

Since The Witcher 3 is set in 1272, this would make Yennefer around 99 during the events of the game.

It may be shocking to know, considering how young she looks, but her magical abilities allow her to look much younger than she is. It’s a startling fact, but one that just highlights how weird and wonderful the world of The Witcher 3 can actually be.
