Pokemon UNITE Lapras Release Date: When is it?

Pokemon UNITE has been continuously adding new characters to its roster in Battle Pass seasons. Luckily for Gen-1 fans, the Water and Ice-type Transport Pokemon, Lapras, is joining the MOBA game's ranks. Pokemon UNITE Lapras Release Date: When is it?

On Saturday, 4 March 2023, the Japanese Pokemon UNITE Twitter account announced the news of Lapras coming to the game, along with the previously announced Gen-6 Dragon-type, Goodra. A few hours later, Serebii tweeted out the above confirmation with a Pokemon UNITE Lapras release date of mid-April 2023.

Whilst we still don't have an exact date for Lapras coming to Pokemon UNITE, it's easy to speculate given Goodra's upcoming release. Goodra was announced earlier this month to arrive in the game on Thursday, 16 March. 

With that and the mid-April timeframe for Lapras, it's very likely that the specific Pokemon UNITE Lapras release date will be 14 April and 16 April, in order to properly space out the release of these two characters.

For those who love playing with dressed Pokemon in Pokemon UNITE as well, Lapras will be one of the characters getting Holowear outfits available as well. Along with additions for Goodra and Sabeye, all three outfits fall in line with Pokemon UNITE's array of Performer Style outfits coming with the current Battle Pass. 

There is no exact release date for these just yet, but are expected to come out over the next couple of months. So, you will be able to dress up your Pokemon UNITE Lapras before you know it.
