Best heroes & team comps for the Necrodrakon boss in AFK Journey
The Necrodrakon is one of AFK Journey's most fearsome foes, and you'll need a good team comp to take it down at higher difficulties.
This guide will show you the best heroes and team comps to use for the Necrodrakon and what kind of strategies you need to employ. I've listed some of the best heroes for each role, like tanks and DPS, as well as an ideal team comp for you to use in the game.
Best heroes to defeat Necrodrakon

These are the best heroes for defeating Necrodrakon. These heroes have debuffs, life drain and movement abilities that help to counter the bosses' attacks.
The reason you want characters that can move around is because the boss will place a damaging crest on the ground that explodes a few seconds later. If your characters are stationary they'll take full damage from it.
Marilee is the ideal DPS for this fight as she can move around while attacking, which makes her a perfect counter to the Necrodrakon's crest attack. Temesia is another great option as she constantly moves and can take a lot of damage.
Click to enlargeHaving a tanky frontline is helpful too, especially if they have self sustain. The boss will focus your tanks and your backline won't have to worry as much about the Necrodrakon's abilities.
Strangely, having a healer is less effective compared to having units that can life drain. That makes units like Smokey less viable than most other fights.

This team comp is designed around Lightbearers with mobility, so you've got Marilee, Vala and Temesia with Korin as sub-DPS. This team gives you lots of mobility and a big boost from having four heroes from the same faction. You can swap out Reinier for another debuffer if you don't have him.

This has a couple of tanks with self sustain like Thoran as well as plenty of the mobile Lightbearer units. If you don't have mobile units, heroes like Cecia, Koko or Smokey can still put in work.
