Kyber bricks, the game’s representation of Star Wars’ kyber crystals, are seen as a ghostly blues 2x2 LEGO piece. When a player collects enough kyber bricks, they can use them to purchase upgrades from the various skill-trees to help enhance all their characters’ skills.
There are two major types of skilltree in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The first is the core upgrades skill tree that allows players to purchase upgrades for all of their characters.
The other skilltrees provide specific upgrades to the various character classes in the game. Examples of this are upgrades to the Jedi mind trick and force abilities for Jedi characters, and all of the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Scavenger abilities.

There is no fixed order for collecting Kyber Bricks but below we have listed them in what we believe to be an efficient way of collecting them.
LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Kyber Bricks: Kyber Brick Comets
Click to enlargeKyber Brick comets are found orbiting the various planets in the galaxy. You will likely come across many of these blue-glowing rocks while making your way through the nine Star Wars episodes. Just fly over to the comet and blast away at it until it breaks, granting you five bricks. A very easy way to get some of the core upgrades purchased early.
LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Kyber Bricks: Side Missions
Click to enlargeThere are a lot of side missions available in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and, much like the kyber comets, most can be done while playing through each of the episodes though some may require freeplay. Side missions can be found both on the ground and in space and will show the player the reward for completing the quest in a little speech bubble by their head.
Focus on the speech bubbles showing Kyber Bricks for the guaranteed ones but some of the other quests will also give out a brick as a secondary reward. We recommend taking the time to do all the side quests anyway as many of the rewards such as characters are worth the effort.
LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Kyber Bricks: Story Missions
Click to enlargeCompleting the various tasks across the 45 story missions in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a great way to build up your collection of Kyber Bricks with a total of six bricks being collectible per level for a total 270. The easiest of these bricks to get is the one received for simply completing the mission the first time around. Nothing fancy, just beat the mission and you are guaranteed one brick.

Click to enlargeThe classic “true jedi” score makes its return in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and with it comes an easy way to collect three Kyber Bricks. Collect enough studs to fill up all three bars at the top of your screen, with each bar giving you a brick.

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Kyber Bricks: Level Challenges
Click to enlargeThe next best way to stock up on kyber bricks is to complete as many of the 135 LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga challenges as possible. A lot of these can be done within the story mode playthrough though some will require the use of freeplay.
To receive the Kyber Brick, you’ll need to complete all three of the challenges in each level. While this isn’t the best reward, a lot of the challenges are simple enough to complete quickly.

Click to enlargeThe final Kyber Brick for you to collect while playing through the story missions in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are the five “minikit” collectibles hidden within each level. These minikit collectibles are hidden throughout each level and are very easy to miss.
To stop this, be sure to purchase at least one stage of the core upgrade collectible collector. Stage one gives you on screen markers but if you can afford it, we recommend all three stages to get map markers also. Not every minikit is available in story mode, with multiple requiring different characters in freeplay.

Click to enlargeNow we get onto the bulk of the Kyber Brick hunting you’ll be doing in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga as each open world section has a huge variety of Kyber Bricks for you to find and collect. These can be broken down into two categories and you’ll be best doing both at the same time but the easiest of the two are the Kyber Bricks that are only found through exploring each map. This is as simple as it sounds, just explore the map and collect the bricks that you can see without much issue.

As mentioned before, for the most efficient time collecting Kyber Bricks, you should do both the exploration and puzzle Kyber Bricks at the same time.
