Fire Emblem Engage Romance Options
Fire Emblem Engage does indeed have romance options with characters such as Alfred and Louis, so it would only make sense to let your character marry in the game. However, Fire Emblem Engage has bucked a few familiar aspects of the series like weapon durability. Here's everything we know about romance options in Fire Emblem Engage.
- There are a lot of great JRPGs out there. Kingdom Hearts is one of them.
Can You Romance People In Fire Emblem Engage?
Past entries like Awakening and Fates give your protagonist the ability to romance who they want as long as the games allowed them to. However, in the mainline Fire Emblem Engage, marriage is not a feature. Instead, you'll get a wonderful scene of the two characters announcing their love for each other. It's not as grand as a marriage procession, but it's still super sweet as the two lovebirds reach the end of the adventure together.
- Would you like to see a Fire Emblem movie just like the Super Mario Bros. Funimation film?
Can Fire Emblem Engage Romance Partners Produce Children?
Earlier Fire Emblem games allow two partners to have children. The offspring then become units you can use in battle. Unfortunately, this is absent from Fire Emblem Engage as well. The characters that developer Intelligent Systems give you are what you're stuck with. At least we can change everyone's voice from English to Japanese.
- You can't have any children in Mass Effect, but you can certainly be romantic in that game.
All Eligible Romance Partners In Fire Emblem Engage
Even though there are no marriages or children to be had, there is still a selection of Fire Emblem Engage characters that can be romanced. A lot of the cast, however, is strictly platonic. Here's who your protagonist can have a relationship with within the game:
- Alfred
- Bonet
- Citrinne
- Diamant
- Goldmary
- Ivy
- Jade
- Kagetsu
- Lapis
- Louis
- Mauvier
- Merrin
- Pandero
- Panette
- Seadall
According to HITC, all of them can be in same-sex relationships. It's excellent that gay and lesbian identities are represented in the game, becoming more reflective of today's culture. Will you fall for the charms of Alfred's princely appearance or will the shy knightly Jade whisk you away?
