If you want the most powerful weapons, you'll need to locate all the Elden Ring Legendary Armaments, which will make your quest to purge the Lands Between of corruption much easier. There are hundreds of armaments in Elden Ring, letting players specialise their class and playstyle with anything at their disposal, however not all weapons are made equal and some stand clear above the rest. So, take a look at our rundown of the Elden Ring Legendary Armaments.

  • Looking for an explanation of the six endings? Check our Elden Ring endings guide to see what happens to the Lands Between in each instance.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Ruins Greatsword

Our first for the list of Legendary Armaments is the Ruins Greatsword. This is earned while in Redmane Castle, which is in the very south-east of the Caelid region. Once you get into the castle, you'll want to find the Chamber Outside the Plaza Site of Grace. From here, if you walk out of the room you should see a fog door in front of you. Inside here are the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight bosses, and once they have been defeated, you will be rewarded with the Ruins Greatsword.

The weapon requires 50 Strength and 16 Intelligence to wield effectively and comes with a unique skill called Wave of Destruction.

For our next Elden Ring Legendary Armament, you'll want to make your way to Castle Sol in the north of the Mountaintops of the Giants region. Starting from the entrance to the castle, go straight ahead toward the wooden stairs that lead up to the second level. From here, carry on toward the door with two torches, and climb the stairs inside to be taken to the next level. Keep on moving forward up another set of stairs, where you will come into a small chapel. At the very front of this room, you'll be able to pick up the Eclipse Shotel.

This weapon requires 30 Faith, 25 Dexterity, and 10 Strength to wield, and contains a unique skill called Death Flare.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Grafted Blade Greatsword

Our third Legendary Armament is likely the first you will come across in the game. It's located at Castle Morne which is at the south tip of the Weeping Peninsula, the most southern area of the world map. To get the Grafted Blade Greatsword, you will need to make your way through the castle and defeat the Leonine Misbegotten boss, who is down on the beach behind the castle.

You will need 40 Strength and 14 Dexterity to wield the weapon, and it comes with a unique skill called Oath of Vengeance.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Sword of Night and Flame

We have covered how to get the Elden Ring Sword of Night and Flame before, so if you need more detail on the weapon, check that guide out. However, it can be found at the Caria Manor, which is in the north-west section of Liurnia. To get to the sword, you will need to make your way through the garden of the castle by veering left from the entrance. This will take you to some walkways above this area, and following the one on the left will take you to a place where you can jump down to a building roof. Going down the ladder on the roof will take you into a room where you can grab the sword from a chest.

To wield the Sword of Night and Flame, you will need 24 Faith and Intelligence, along with 12 Strength and Dexterity. It also comes with a unique skill called Night-and-Flame Stance.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Marais Executioner's Sword

For the fifth Legendary Armament, we have the Marais Executioner's Sword. To get this you will need to travel to the Altus Plateau region in the north, and then find the valley at the west side of the region. Following the valley will take you to The Shaded Castle, which is a small legacy dungeon. Make your way through the castle, and eventually you will come to the boss fight against Elemer of the Briar. After defeating him, you will earn the sword.

It requires 24 Strength, 23 Arcane, and 14 Dexterity to wield, and comes with a unique skill called Eochaid's Dancing Blade.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Dark Moon Greatsword

The Dark Moon Greatsword is one of the harder Legendary Armaments to get to as you will need to finish the Elden Ring Ranni quest in its entirety before getting to it. This can take a while as the quest has many steps, but our quest guide has a full breakdown of how to get through it. Essentially, once you unlock the Moonlight Altar area after completing most of the quest, you will need to make your way to the Cathedral of Manus Celes. In here there is a hole in the ground that leads to a cave with Ranni at the end. Speak to her and she will give you the weapon.

You will need 38 Intelligence, 16 Strength, and 11 Dexterity to wield it, and it comes with the Moonlight Greatsword skill.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Bolt Of Gransax

This weapon is the only missable Legendary Armament in the game, so make sure you don't progress past the Mountaintops of the Giants region before you have grabbed this. It's located in the capital city of Leyndell, but luckily isn't too hard to find. After defeating Godfrey for the first time and unlocking the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace, make your out of the door to the west. This will take you to an elevator that goes down, which will have a set of stairs leading to a statue of Marika. Turn left here and hug the balcony on your left until you see the giant spear sticking into a wall. Jump onto it and walk upward to grab the Bolt of Gransax.

This is a spear that requires 40 Dexterity and 20 Strength. It also has a unique skill called Ancient Lightning Spear.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Golden Order Greatsword

Our next weapon is also a bit hard to track down as it's hidden away in the Cave of the Forlorn, which is in the Consecrated Snowfield area. This is an optional area that requires you to grab both pieces of the Elden Ring Haligtree Medallion, so you can activate the Grand Lift of Rold and make your way there. In this region, there is a frozen lake, and following it to the east will take you near a frozen waterfall where there is a Magma Wyrm boss. The cave can be found on the left cliff wall before the boss and requires two Stonesword Keys to enter. To get the Golden Order Greatsword, just make your way through the cave and defeat the Misbegotten Crusader enemy at the end.

The weapon requires 28 Faith, 21 Dexterity, and 16 Strength, while also coming with a unique ability called Establish Order.

Elden Ring Legendary Armaments: Devourer's Scepter

The last of the game's Legendary Armaments can be found in the second to last legacy dungeon - Crumbling Farum Azula. From the Beside the Great Bridge Site of Grace, make your way out of the door and climb the stairs onto the road. From there, instead of walking upwards toward the boss fight, go the opposite way. There will be a doorway and stairs that lead to a large L-shaped balcony. Climb down the nearby ladder and at the end of the walkway, Invader Bernahl will spawn in. Just defeat him to grab the Devourer's Scepter, and you can even find an Elden Ring Legendary Talisman just past him.

The Devourer's Scepter requires 25 Faith, 24 Strength, and 20 Dexterity to wield, and comes with the Devourer of Worlds unique skill.

That's all for our breakdown of where to find all the Elden Ring Legendary Talismans, and now you know to grab all nine for the achievement.

The Ashes of War allow you to use unique skills on many weapons to make your playstyle your own, and the Elden Ring Bloodhound Step is one of the best available.
