The Elden Ring Rivers of Blood is the strongest katana in the game and a valuable addition to any character specialising into Dexterity and Arcane, due to its powerful bleed passive. There are too many weapons in Elden Ring to count, but not all of them are made equal, with some rising far above the rest due to their stats. If you want to get your hands on one of the very best, check out how to get the Elden Ring Rivers of Blood.

The Elden Ring Rivers of Blood is a unique katana that requires 12 Strength, 18 Dexterity, and 20 Arcane. It scales best with Dexterity, making it one of the most powerful Dex weapons in the entire game. Due to its Arcane requirement, only specific builds can make use of this weapon, but with the right stats it's immensely powerful. To upgrade the Elden Ring Rivers of Blood, you'll need Somber Smithing Stones, along with an Ancient Dragon Somber Smithing Stone to max it out.

The unique skill of the Elden Ring Rivers of Blood is called Corpse Piler, which causes the wielder to form a blade of cursed blood before making successive attacks from several directions. You can also follow up very quickly to keep the combination going. It costs 17 FP per activation of the skill.

The Elden Ring Rivers of Blood katana can be earned from the invading NPC phantom, Bloody Finger Okina, who also wields the weapon during the fight. To get invaded by Okina, you'll need to travel to one of the late-game regions called the Mountaintops of the Giants and find the Church of Repose. Once you arrive in the area, you'll be invaded, and upon killing Okina, the weapon will drop and be found in your inventory.

That's all for our walkthrough on how to find the Elden Ring Rivers of Blood, and now you should be able to locate Bloody Finger Okina and earn the powerful katana.
