Click to enlargeThe new Trailblazers promo in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team celebrates players who have led their teams to success in the footballing season so far. While we have seen many of these names crop up in the various Team of the Week squads, there are many players who might not have got the goals or assists but have still been vital to their team's winning success.
This promo is especially exciting to me as we could get a wider selection of players that you wouldn't typically see in performance-based promotions. It is rare for a defensive midfielder or centre-back to crop up in these squads if they're not bagging goal contributions, but with these boosts, we could see some really interesting and desirable cards entering the market.
Players will receive the standard overall and stat boosts that you'd expect from special cards, but information from renowned leaker Runtheiconmarket has confirmed that all players will receive a PlayStyle+, or have their existing one replaced. This is huge news as PlayStyles make all the difference in EA FC, so you'll definitely want to pay attention to these cards once they have been released.

As more and more players get leaked it seems like Trailblazers is going to be one of the biggest promos ever - especially when you consider how early on in the cycle we are. With incredible players like Mbappe, Hansen, Salah, and more, you'll certainly be the luckiest player out there if you manage to pack even one of them.
Personally, I'm most looking forward to getting Salah in my team as a Liverpool fan, or Griezmann as he is by far my favourite card that I've used in the game so far. I am fully bracing for both to be way out of my price range though, so I am glad that there seem to be a couple of players who might be on the cheaper side of things.

Trailblazers player predictions
Click to enlargeI always love a performance-based promo in Ultimate Team as it is so much fun to predict the players who are likely to be included. So many footballs have been intrinsic to their team's success so far this season, but we've compiled a short list below of players we'd like to see - let us know if you can think of any that we've missed:

While not all of the players listed above will be included, it would not be surprising to see a couple of them receive special cards for their excellent performances. As a Liverpool fan, I am certainly most excited about the prospect of a Szoboszlai card, as that would be one that I would keep in my team for a very long time.

When is the Trailblazers start date in EA FC 24?
Click to enlargeTrailblazers in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team is likely to go live on Friday, October 13, at 6PM BST once the second Road to the Knockouts squad leaves packs. All included players will have their standard cards removed from packs, and that will stay that way for the duration of the promo.
