Pace, Shooting, and Passing are the key attributes for any winger, regardless of whether they're staying out wide or moving into the box.
The best players have a combination of all three, but you can make concessions depending on the Player Role that you're running within your tactics.
PlayStyles also play a huge part in the strength of your winger, as they can help you beat the defender, glide past them, and then serve your striker with a killer pass or finish the move yourself.
Best Right Winger PlayStyles
With three Player Roles taking up vastly different positions and responsibilities on the pitch, it's vitally important that your chosen player has the following PlayStyles. These are, of course, a match for those in the Left Winger side, but you might not always want to have both Roles mirror each other.

- Incisive Pass
- First Touch

- Trickster

- Whipped Pass

- Trivela
- Quickstep
Wide Playmaker

Best RW Player Roles
Most players will gravitate towards the Inside Forward Player Role as it gives you two extra players in attack - especially around the box. Many of the best RWs are built for this role specifically, and you can create some devastating moves when cutting inside.
If the middle is feeling a little too congested though then I'd recommend going for the Winger Player Role to create some width. This will stretch the opposition's defence, creating room for your Striker while also placing you in the perfect spot for a dangerous cross or cutback.
