The Max 87 Base Hero SBC is on the horizon in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team, and it is essential to know which players you have a chance of getting before you cement your investment.

Hero and Icon packs are some of the most exciting to open in EA FC - especially in the early stages, but that excitement does come with a risk of losing lots of coins. Of course, you have the chance of getting some top-tier cards but you're far more likely to get many of the duds, so lists like this can help you decide whether the cost is worth it for you in the game.

While the cheapest 85 rated players in Ultimate Team will help you avoid overspending when building each challenge squad, you are likely to spend more than the cost of some of the worst players - unless you have some of the highest rated players in the game already in your club.

So, continue reading to see a full list of eligible players for the Max 87 Base Hero SBC in EA FC 24, as there are quite a few that might make your eyes light up with excitement.

I certainly hope that it's Yaya Toure or Ramires that appear when I open the pack, as they would go straight into my team - and pretty much anyone else's too. I've also got my eyes on Kewell, Riise, and Macmanaman as a Liverpool fan, but I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at anyone in the top half of the list.

While the rating cap might seem a little low considering the Hero category, there are actually a surprising amount of excellent cards on offer here. While the number of duds has certainly increased with many of the new Hero cards, there's always a chance that you could hit big and get a top card - many of which appear in our list of the best players in every position too.

The best players that you can get in the Max 87 Base Hero SBC in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team are Yaya Touré, Ramires, Saeed Al-Owairan, Claudio Marchisio, and Iván Córdoba.

These cards are not only the most expensive options on the list, but they will also improve your squad regardless of what your current team is - making them top-tier options if you are lucky enough to pack them.

It also depends on what your current squad looks like, as while Heroes have perfect chemistry in their correct position, you might also want to get a Hero that benefits the rest of your players' chemistry the most.

Max 87 Base Hero SBC predicted requirements

Thankfully the Max 87 Base Hero SBC was also released in FIFA 23, giving us a good idea of what the predicted requirements will be. Of course, these are likely to be different - especially with all of the new Heroes added to the game, but it gives you an idea of what to expect.

So, here is our prediction for the Max 87 Base Hero SBC requirements in EA FC 24:

  • Squad Rating: Minimum 86
  • TOTW Players: Minimum 1

This is roughly the same as the requirements from last year, only with the minimum rating bumped up to 86 from 85 to compensate for the new Heroes. This would have the cost of the SBC at around 86,000 coins based on the cheapest 86 rated players right now - but they are likely to jump up in price once this SBC is released.

I would certainly jump at doing this SBC if it is around that price, as that would mean that over half of the cards would cost more than the investment - and that doesn't even include any untradeables that you already have in your club.

That wraps up everything you need to know about the Max 87 Base Hero SBC in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team right now though, so all we have to do is wait for it to be released.
